InhaleExhale Bath bomb

Hey there sparkle people!

This will be the first in a series of 3 reviews of bath bombs from lush 'coz i just had a delivery from lushie land! 😍

The Inhale Exhale ballistic was part of a Mother's day special for 2014. As a first time user of a lush bath bomb i was drawn to it because of its magical description - it is made of 2 parts - the first of which will fizz quickly and release a rose and neroli smell, and the other will fizz slowly and give you a grounding effect for a long luxurious bath!
Exciting right?

Well first off i was really not too impressed with the bath bomb - it was nothing close to something you would expect from a mothers day special - no pinks and purples - just an orangish red and blue small ball.

This is the first bomb i decided to try it 'coz it left me a little curious. The description was right - when i first put it into the tub the red part fizzled away real quick. However, i cannot remember any rose or neroli smells in my bath tub at the time.

It did however have a smoky musk smell to it. It was not too masculine so it still did feel perfectly relaxing. By the time the blue fizzed out it began to look a deep purple!

That was enough to buy me in as purple is one of my absolute fav colours! I just lay down in there for about an hour and really did not want to come out!

It did not give me any kind of rash and did not dry out my skin. Of course it is a pretty good idea to put on some silky bath lotion afterwards with a quick rinse so you can avoid any kind of issues.

Overall, it was a relaxing Friday with the Lush Bath bomb! I do not know if it would be my definite go to product - but it definitely makes it onto the list 😉

Peace.Love.Beauty!

Whats your experience with the bath bombs from Lush?
